Anne Curtis Smith, a Filipino Australian model-actress television host and recording artist has received numerous awards throughout her career. These include two FAMAS Awards one Luna Award as well as two Metro Manila Film Festival Awards. Additionally she has also been selected for nominations to two Gawad Urian Awards and eight PMPC Star Awards for Movies. Curtis starred as Hiram Kampanerang in the films (2005), Maging Sino ka Man Dyosa (2007) Green Rose (2011) as well as Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw (2003). she played the famous Komiks character Dyesebel in Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel. In addition, she was a host of the noontime variety show It's Time to Showtime (2009-2020). Anne Curtis was born in Melbourne, in Australia on 17th February in 1985. She is an Filipina and Australian actress. In her long career she has won many awards such as both FAMAS Awards two Metro Manila Film Festival Awards and in five PMPC Star Awards. Curtis was a part of a variety of TV series, including Hiram 2004, 2005 Kampanerang Kuba (2005) Maging Sino Dyosa 2008 Green Rose 2011 and Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw 2013. She portrayed Dyesebel, the infamous Komiks character from Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel. Other roles include hosting the midday variety show It's Showtime from 2009-2020. Curtis is a native of Yarrawonga, Victoria, Australia her parents were Carmencita Ojales a Filipina from Bolinao Pangasinan and James Ernest Curtis-Smith an Australian lawyer. Her father was married to Ojales at the age of 1982. Jasmine who is her younger sister is an actress too. On their father's side they shared a half-sister whose name was Clare who died in 2007 from a heart illness that occurred at 4 months of age.
